It can be just my imagination but my observations say that when I was very young like a teenager or 20 something people commented my height, details of my body. Of course it was sick.
Now when I am older they don't ask me weird questions like "Why are you too tall?, are all members of your family too tall?". To me it looks like being nasty to young people is more accepted than to adults.

Too tall or too schort people don't really exist. It is just extra norm
If you are standard you have no much history
just people don't easily accept who is out of norme.
